Changes to my study programme

Some things that I want to change in my curriculum are the lack of subjects that help the student to enter to the work field and doing it something easier when someone needs to get a job, also I think that a third subject about how the chemical and the society interacts can be very helpful.
About the workload I think that in the first year the subjects need to be lighter and then start to increase the difficulty progressively, and in the length I add another semester or maybe two for new subjects or more practice subjects at the end of the career.

I think that the faculty needs more places with roof for the rainy days or the hot days, the library need more books and chairs because sometimes the library isn´t full and you can´t sit because there´s no chairs and more microwaves.

The use of technology in the faculty is really nice but the equipment is too old, so maybe it´s time for an update and buy new equipment and use modern software to do better and more things than now and prepare the teacher for this modern stuff.

The teachers method need to be change because is to generic and most of the students doesn´t understand and need to find answers in other places and not where they need to find answers, with their teachers, also some teachers have a really bad attitude and demotivate his or her students to learn in the respective subject, is true that the student had a bit of responsibility but also is true that some teacher are not good teaching.

    This faculty has serious problems of infrastructure, I have the feel that it wasn't planned that well.

    This faculty is small for the number of people, I think the infrastructure is small because it is given much more importance to laboratories.

The best holidays that I´ve had was this year around end of January, I go to Valdivia with my scout clan for eleven days and we go from one lake to another, we stay three days in one lake then we go to the other, three days more and we move again, and the same thing one more time, the other two days we travel from Santiago to Valdivia and vice versa. A person that I admire in chemistry field

A person that I admire in chemistry field is Haydde Gómez, I don’t know so much of her life because she was my teacher and is not right know so much of her life if she is my teacher, or that is my opinion at least, but I know that she have 41 years old and is married, also she had a son. She has work like a chemistry teacher in many schools, also was boss of the science sector in my school and wrote many books of chemistry and revises others too. Maybe she is not a chemist for industry but is one that impulse people like me to discover by ourselves the magic of chemistry, that´s why I admire her, because she had the faculty to teach to teenagers and motivate them, and also make me fall in love with this science. She gives to me an objective and the motivation to do my best for study chemistry. That´s why I am here, for that motivation that she gave me.
